My Final Thoughts
(for the last time...)
This semester we've had an ICT and Material Design course. We've had many assignments and we learned a lot from these assignments. Some were really entertaining to make such as podcast and animation video. And as we're new to such things some were a bit challenging.
Before this lecture I only knew like using interactional books, using smartboard, recording audios etc. in terms of integrating of technology in the class. After this class I learned that I can assign my students to make podcasts together and all others. So this course made me see that using technology in class is not just using smartboards. Integrating technology to our classes would have positive effects as it left positive effects on me.
The task I liked most is probably making a podcast because I liked the idea of asking questions and getting answers. It's not just entertaining but it's also improving for the students in terms of speaking and pronounciation. And my least favourite is probably AI task because it had a lot of steps. Also it wasn't really excited for me but maybe younger students would love to do a task like that. And I'm not really fond of AI, I'm in the group of people that think AI could be dangerous so this can be an another reason.
And lastly, we used lots of apps and websites for the tasks. Maybe if we could get a better explanation, showing how to use the apps would be more beneficial for us while making the tasks. Overall it was an improving and entertaining course and I will defitintely assign tasks like these to my students in the future.
