farewell

HELLO ALL!

Welcome Back for The Last Time,

Last year, I also wrote a goodbye post, thinking that would be the final post, but it wasn't. This semester, for another course, we are meeting on this blog again. I believe it becomes a habit throughout the time. Writing about what we've done gives me a new perspective on what I actually did.

Using a blog for related but different courses makes people compare them. I can say that last year, we learned to use AI, videomaking, podcasting, etc. only for ourselves, but this year, in Current Issues in Teaching class, we learned to look at these as teachers. This year, we finally became teachers to our imaginary students, and we prepared a lot for them.

In this course, I learned a lot. Learning tools to create a material is way more different from just using it. The assignments were not so difficult to prepare. Coming up with new ideas gets easier every day in this department. The only hardship could be preparing lesson plans based on the "ASSURE" model for each assignment. Since we learned that we have to prepare for the previous assignments as well in the last week, it made things complicated. My favourite task was definitely preparing AR/VR material. It was fun and exciting. While preparing the task we also took a trip to Rome as well :). I must confess seeing and using everything "Ai" made me a bit sick of it. Yes, it is great very useful, and a huge help for teachers but it was a bit too much. Maybe it is because originally I am okay with it but I'm not a big fan of Ai.

For the students of the next year, I can say that you'll have more fun working on the assignments for this class. You'll start to feel like you are a teacher. And I believe you will like this course a lot. At the start, I really didn't think I would like this course that much. It taught me a lot as I explained in the beginning, and I believe you will feel the same.

This is all for now...
And as always,

Thank you for your attention <3
